1. Who We Are

Global Jobs Consulting SRL (hereinafter GJC, we or our company) is a company registered in Romania, headquartered in Oradea, Str. Parcul Traian nr. 1, ap. 10, VAT: RO48270947, J05/1458/2023.
We are a data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law 190/2018.

Identification data: full name, nationality, date of birth.
Contact data: email address, phone number, postal address.
Professional data: CV, qualifications, work experience, identity documents (passport, residence permit) — only if you are a candidate.
Browsing data: IP address, browser, pages visited, time spent — via technical and analytics cookies (if you have consented).
Communications: messages sent via the contact form or WhatsApp.

Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to provide the requested recruitment services.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for sending commercial offers and marketing cookies.
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): to comply with labor and immigration law.
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): to improve our services and website security.

Contact data and CV: up to 2 years from the last interaction, or until consent is withdrawn.
Legal documents (contracts, permits): 5 years as required by law.
Browsing data (analytics cookies): up to 13 months.
Upon expiry, data is deleted or anonymised.

We do not sell your data. We may share it with:
Partner employers: solely for evaluating your application, with your prior consent.
Public authorities: ANOFM, ITM, IGI — only when legally required.
IT service providers: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Railway (API server) — under confidentiality agreements and GDPR-compliant DPAs.
Google Analytics: anonymised browsing data (if you accepted analytics cookies).

Right of access: you may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: you may correct inaccurate data.
Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'): you may request deletion, except where retention is legally required.
Right to restriction: you may request limited use of your data.
Right to data portability: you may receive your data in a structured format (JSON/CSV).
Right to object: you may object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
Right to withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Right to lodge a complaint: with the Romanian DPA (www.dataprotection.ro) or any EU supervisory authority.

We use three categories of cookies:
Strictly necessary cookies: essential for site operation (session, security). No consent required.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): collect anonymised visitor data. Require your consent.
Marketing cookies: for personalised ads. Require your consent.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: HTTPS connections, storage of documents in private buckets with restricted access, password hashing, role-based access control.
Sensitive documents (passports, IDs) are accessible only through temporary signed URLs with automatic expiry.

Some data may be processed outside the EU/EEA (e.g. cloud services). In such cases we ensure the transfer is based on:
Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or
An adequate level of protection recognised by the European Commission.

We may update this policy periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the document. We will notify you by email if the changes are significant.
